Matt
As a child of the 80's, growing up North of Boston Matt was completely immersed into the world of sports at a very young age. From Celtic glory to the Sox sad story Matt was thrown right in to experiencing the sheer emotion of being a sports fan. Since birth, sports have been a true passion. At the University of Massachusetts Matt received his degree in both journalism and video to take his passion of sports to the next level. He has wrote and contributed to a number of publications including The Boston Globe, Daily Hampshire Gazette, and the Community Newspaper Company. Currently he works as a Videographer and resides in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
Mike
Mike Demirdjian has been working in public broadcasting for 7 years. Demirdjian has announced various MASCAC (Mass. State College Athletic Conference)tournaments for baseball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. He also presided over the Pioneer Collegiate Lacrosse League Championship tournament in 2003. Mike graduated from Bridgwater State College with a Communications degree. At Bridgewater, Demirdjian co-hosted,narrated, and hosted a student news magazine show as well as co-hosting a sports talk show on the campus radio. Most recently Mike has been the voice of the New England Riptide, of National Pro fast pitch, a professional women’s softball league. He currently resides in North Andover, Massachusetts.
Ryan
My name is Ryan McBride. I am 18 years old and I am a senior at Salem High School. I will be going to Northern Essex Community College to get my associates in General Studies, then transferring to a different college to major in Creative Writing.
My passion has always been writing, and watching all New England sports. The fan base and the passion is that of no other team, or league, or franchise, or for that fact, no other region in the world, has as much passion as we do.
I lived through the 90's mishaps of the Patriots, the late 90's early 00's watching the Bruins disappoint a great run against the arch-rivalry Montreal in the first round, and I grew up very young watching Cam Neely and Ray Bourque. I watched some of the most amazing baseball players to date, Pedro, Nomar, Tim Wakefield, Jason Varitek, and many other Red Sox players, grow up to be fascinating veterans that. For those who are not here, I miss dearly. I also witnessed the greatest championship comeback in the history of sports in 2004 when the Red Sox won under an eclipse.
The Celtics have made a few runs that have ended in disappointment, and I continue to support them. I am up and coming with news articles, taking a new path in the writing world. I produced a New England sports column in the school newspaper, "Blue Ink." I live 30 minutes North of Boston, and I'm proud of it.
