Here comes the true form we've been waiting for. Daisuke Matzusaka pitched a ten K, six hit outting that pleased the coaches and players, and possibly for the first time, pleased the fans of Boston as well. Only coming into one jam in the 5th inning, having two men on the corners with Pena Jr. at bat, who oly managed to dribble the ball back do Matzusaka, who made the 1 to 3 play. It was a bargain coming out of the offseason, spending over $100,000,000 dollars on one player, something that is very unlike the Red Sox to do in most cases, leaving Damon and other players to rot while they marveled in championship bound teams, leaving us to sit at third place. With the Red Sox in first place at 2-1, they will make another charge at the Kansas City Royals, to try and put them away and start their opening series of the season of at 3-1. It is at 2:05 eastern time, on NESN. Tim Wakefield starts on the mound today for the first time this season, ready to throw the Knuckleball. Stay tune with more sox news, after the game.
