Here sox fans sit, wondering when, and if the Red Sox will make a 6 game winning streak, or maybe just even a 3 game winning streak, that shows that the red sox can and will have a season to remember, not just another third place dissappointment. Tim Wakefield came out of the dugout ready to go, and pitched as well as he ever does, only giving up 2 runs. That game ended up being a 2-0 loss, leaving the Sox at an even 2-2. Starting off the second game against the Texas Rangers, Julian Tavarez started off the few first innings in command. So did the Sox bats, they quickly when up 2-0. It was after that, that the Rangers took command, winning the game 8-4. With the Sox 2-3, an under five hundred team early, you cant begin to contimplate where they are headed, but you can begin to wonder, are we missing something? Is it pitching, or is it just that unmentioned, but extremely important energy called chemistry? Something to ponder, and something that may soon need attention if this inconsistency continues. It is early, and the year is young, and the first impression is still playing its course. Lets hope we want to take them on to a second date. More news and events coming your way as they happen after the games. Tonight the Red Sox face the Texas Rangers in their last game in this series, tonight at 8pm eastern time on NESN. Curt Schilling tries to make a rebound, putting them back to .500% ball, and giving him a 1-1 start to the season, as he starts tonights game.
